Summaries and Customer Reviews are supplied by Amazon.com Literature that speaks to the heart | Customer Rating: | Annie on my mind took my heart in its hand and led me through a beautiful simple sweet love story which I could feel part and parcel of ... No complicated scenarios, no strange vocabulary but literature that speaks to the heart.
Everyday life, everyday problems, things that most of us, or at least me have passed through.
Every single detail talks about love. Mind you I said Love, because it's just secondary the fact that the story is about two gay teenagers. And that's what is all about, love, in all its dimensions, all its colours... love on daily bases which I could relate to. That's what's compelling about this book which I suggest fervently to read, gay or not.
Thank you Nancy Garden! | this book | Customer Rating: | | i have to admit when i read the dicription for this book i wasnt blown away by it. but eveyone should read this book, wither ur gay, bi and st8 it doesnt matter this book is just fantastic | Something else | Customer Rating: | This book is wonderful. The first time in a long time that a book actually made my heart ache. The title stems from the fact that the story is in effect told by Liza as she spends her days in MIT thinking about Annie. Annie who she loves but hasn't seen or spoken to in 6 months.
She thinks back to how they met, struggled with the emotions of falling in love with another woman and also why she hasn't been able to reply any of Annie's letters even though it hurts her so.
I can't think of strong enough words to describe how beautiful this book is. I'd recommend it to anyone. | please buy it... | Customer Rating: | this is a touching and moving book. i have read it over and over and i still never want it to end...
