Summaries and Customer Reviews are supplied by Amazon.com Disappointing | Customer Rating: | | Like the other one star reviewers, I am/was an avid James Patterson fan eagerly awaiting each new story. However, that is no longer the case and the stories are now just dreadful. Yes, they are still page turners but they no longer grip the reader and the endings are dire. "Sail" is no different to the last few churned out in collaboration with other authors, it looks as if it's going to be a great read but oh the disappointment as you delve in - one dimensional characters who fail to arouse any interest in their fate and an ending I've already forgotten as I really didn't care!! | Shockingly bad | Customer Rating: | Any book that has a man eating snake come out of nowhere is I'm afraid rubbish.
This story has so many plot twists that it is plain silly and to cap it all the plot is predictable, but childish.
The only good thing about the book is the ending, but for no other reason other than I have finished it and will not need to read it ever again. | Excellent Read | Customer Rating: | | I thoroughly enjoyed this book, couldnt put it down in fact. Not one of the best but a close second. Would highly recommend this, you wont be disappointed. | Sunk | Customer Rating: | | Another woeful outing from James Patterson whose last three outings have seen him regulated from eagerly anticipated to so what. The characters are flat and the story poorly conceived and executed - where does a huge man eating snake come from in Bermuda? It's another straight to video. | Sail - was just what I needed! | Customer Rating: | After reading You've been warned by the same authors I wondered if this book was going to be such hard going! To my delight this was a book I did not want to put down and found myself reading it through the night.
James Paterson deserves his money as he has produced some brilliant books which I have enjoyed. His skill from going from tense thrillers to love stories, one off stories to follow on stories speaks for itself and I hope he is around for many years for me to continue reading and enjoying his books.
As for SAIL read it and enjoy! |
