Summaries and Customer Reviews are supplied by Amazon.com Beach or holiday read | Customer Rating: | Well, lovers of Clive Cussler and Matthew Reilly will enjoy this, but I have to confess I am no longer a fan of either author. But this is less over the top then Reilly while having the same non stop action style, which is ideal if you want something fast paced that you don't need to think about. Mainly an action novel with a high body count and lots of swearing, with a slight bit of romance as the two lead characters, Nina (smart beautiful archaeologist) and Eddie (wise cracking ex SAS) have one or two problems with their relationship. Mindless but fun in it's own way, ideal for a holiday where you want something not taxing! | Action to the Extreme | Customer Rating: | | Oh my god I though I had read some exciting and crazy books but this is incredible. My first Andy Mc Dermott book and wont be my last. Sliding off buildings on makeshift sledges, flying down telephone lines and swimming in sewers before being attacked in tunnels and fast speed trains this makes Mission Impossible look like Blue Peter. Very similar to Matthew Reilly as previously said in many reviews and it is a real compliment to both authors. Buy this book if you like James Bond mixed with Indianna Jones. Make sure that you dont miss your stop though if on a train as it is so intense.GIVE ME A 10 STAR OPTION. | Cracking Read | Customer Rating: | High speed enertainment highly enjoyable read its like Mathew Reilly books for grown ups bring on the next | Not as involving as Atlantis | Customer Rating: | | Yes I loved the first novel and eagerly grabbed this book to keep pace with Nina and Eddie. The action is relentless, Eddie's one liners continue to make me laugh out loud and the relationship issues are well observed, but the actual Hercules Tomb section appears very short compared to the Atlantis search, with a lot less background detail as well. The search for the tomb actually kicks off at about page 300 after a great deal of indifferent back story on Eddies ex wife. Overall I did enjoy the book but did not feel it was as involving as Atlantis. I do however look forward to Excalibur as a hopeful return to form | The Tomb of Hercules | Customer Rating: | | This book is fast has numerous links to other books / people and I cannot wait for his next book to come out . |
